Courses evaluation

Dear Sir or Madam,

Until June 15th of this year, anonymous evaluation surveys regarding the courses you conducted in the summer semester will be available on your individual accounts in the USOS system. I kindly invite you to complete these surveys.

The evaluation, designed to guarantee respondents full anonymity and voluntary participation, serves to improve the educational process, ensure an increasingly higher level of teaching, better understand the role of various aspects of the organization of the didactic process, and the elements shaping the quality and conditions of education at the Faculty of Social Communication and Media at the University of Wrocław.

To start the survey, after logging into your USOSweb account, select the option “My USOS” or from the side menu “My Studies”: “Surveys,” then open the survey by clicking on the course name. The survey is completed by selecting from the right-hand menu the option that best corresponds to your assessment among the possible answers. In the lower window, please enter a comment-point out the strengths, weaknesses of the classes,or share any remarks related to the completed course. The survey is completed by clicking the “finish survey” option.

After the survey access is closed and the data is processed quantitatively and electronically (after June 30), summary results related to the courses you evaluated will appear on your USOSweb account.

The anonymized results of the evaluation surveys and comments will be a valuable and important source of information for staff members, unit directors, and the Faculty Team for Quality Assessment of Education.

The survey results are used to optimize course staffing plans, modify study programs, and explore data regarding various aspects of didactic organization at the Faculty. I sincerely encourage you to participate in the survey and take advantage of the opportunity to express your opinion on the substantive side of the educational process being conducted. Especially since, according to § 9 of the Study Regulations at the University of Wrocław, participation in the evaluation of the didactic process (filling out surveys) is both your right and obligation.

Yours sincerely

dr hab. Aneta Firlej-Buzon, prof. UWr
Vice-Dean for Full-Time Studies
and Quality of Education
