Polish Language Course

The Polish Language Course is mandatory for all international students.

  • For full-time students:
    The course is organized by the School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners (Szkoła Języka Polskiego i Kultury dla Cudzoziemców). To enroll, students are required to send a notification of participation to the School at sjpkc@uwr.edu.pl or directly to Mr. Rafał Krawczyk at rafal.krawczyk@uwr.edu.pl.
  • For part-time students:
    The course is organized by the Institute. Enrollment is automatic, and no additional notification of participation is required.

Foreign Language Course

The Foreign Languages Course is mandatory for all students, both Polish and international. Students are required to complete a course in any foreign language offered by the Foreign Languages Centre (Studium Praktycznej Nauki Języków Obcych) at a minimum B2+ proficiency level.

Exemption options:

Students may be exempt from this requirement if they hold:

  • A recognized foreign language certificate at a minimum B2+ level
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a foreign language philology.
    The recognition of certificates or diplomas is subject to the Foreign Languages Centre’s guidelines.
